Premier Polysteel shade structures are not fabric canopies or bolt-on accessories. The shade is built directly into the furniture as a plastisol-coated expanded metal canopy supported by heavy-duty steel posts. The entire structure, from the seat to the top of the shade, is coated in UV-stable plastisol. One unit, one warranty, zero fabric to replace.
The shaded bench combines a 6′ Grand Contour contoured seat with a built-in pitched expanded metal shade canopy. The canopy features a sloped expanded metal roof with diamond-shaped openings that allow rain to run off and drain through rather than pool. Total height is 107″ with 84″ of head clearance. Direct bury mount only. Available in 12 standard colors.
The structure is engineered to meet IBC 2024/2021 and ANSI 7-22 requirements and includes a PE-stamped drawing for permitting purposes.
Fabric shade canopies tear, fade, and need replacing every few years. Premier Polysteel’s expanded metal shade canopies are coated in the same plastisol as the rest of the furniture, so they carry the same 20-year warranty. No fabric to replace, no fading, and significantly more wind resistance than fabric alternatives. The pitched metal canopy also sheds rain naturally while air flows freely through the expanded metal openings, keeping the space below cooler and drier than solid shade panels.
