Two pedestal grill models are available. The standard multi-level pedestal grill (Model 999-SB16) features 300 square inches of cooking area on a grate made of 1/2″ steel bars welded on 1″ centers, adjustable to four heights. The fire box is 3/16″ thick steel with continuous weld construction and a formed ash lip that reinforces the box and helps retain coals. The flip-up model (Model 999-SF16) offers the same 300 square inches of cooking area with a grate that adjusts to four levels and also flips back for easier fire starting and cleanout. Both models feature heavy-duty cool spring handles designed for public use, rounded corners, drain holes, and 360° rotation. An optional 8″ x 20″ utility shelf is available for both models.
Both pedestal grill models are permanently attached to a 41″ galvanized steel pedestal post via a unique swivel mechanism that provides a theft-proof connection with continuous rotation in either direction. The adjustable cooking grate sits in anti-theft designed slots. The construction is built specifically for public-use environments where vandalism and theft resistance are a requirement.
Standard installation is in-ground, with the post embedded in concrete. Surface mount is also available. Refer to the grill installation instructions for post depth requirements and mounting hardware specifications.
