Plastisol is a PVC-based (polyvinyl) coating applied as a liquid and heat-cured to bond permanently to steel. Premier Polysteel applies a 1/8+ inch layer to every surface of every product, creating a UV-stable, mildew-resistant barrier that eliminates rust and requires minimal maintenance.
Powder coating is a thinner and less durable than plastisol over time. Plastisol is a thick, rubberized coating bonded directly to the steel that won’t chip, peel, or require repainting. That’s why we offer a 20-year warranty while competitor warranties vary significantly.
No. Unlike bare metal or thin powder-coated surfaces, our plastisol coating does not conduct heat the same way. The surface stays significantly cooler than bare metal or powder-coated surfaces and won’t freeze to skin in cold weather.
We offer 12 standard UV-stable color options. Color is mixed throughout the coating, not applied to the surface, so it won’t peel, chip, or need touch-up.
Yes. Our plastisol coating includes built-in antimicrobial protection. This makes our furniture particularly well suited for schools, restaurants, and other high-traffic public spaces where hygiene matters.
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on all standard products under normal use, including structural integrity of welded steel frames and resistance to rust and corrosion.

No. Every surface is sealed with plastisol, including legs, braces, in-ground posts, and hardware. No exposed metal means no rust. Ever.
No. Grills, fire rings, dome lids, and umbrellas are distributed products, they are not manufactured by Premier Pplysteel and are not covered under our 20-year limited warranty. Surface mount installation uses base plates that bolt directly to an existing concrete surface, ideal for patios, plazas, and areas with existing concrete pads. In-ground installation sets posts permanently into poured concrete below grade, no surface concrete pad is required, making it ideal for parks, campgrounds, and open green spaces. Commercial park benches are typically available in 4-foot, 6-foot, and 8-foot lengths. Premier Polysteel’s Champion benches feature a 10-inch seat depth, while our Champion Supreme line offers a deeper 15-inch seat with a contoured back for extended comfort.
For general use, allow approximately 2 linear feet of bench space per person. A 6-foot table comfortably seats 6-8 adults. A 4-foot square table seats up to 8 with access from all sides. For ADA-accessible seating, our accessible models provide wheelchair access from one or both ends, capacity varies by model.
Yes. Premier Polysteel manufactures a full line of ADA-accessible picnic tables with wheelchair-accessible ends, proper knee clearance (minimum 27 inches), and surface heights between 28-34 inches per federal requirements. Available in square, and rectangle configurations.

Two plaque styles are available. Sublimated plaques feature a white background with full-color photos and text, ideal for portraits and detailed imagery. The brass-appearance plaque is an engravable plastic option with a brass-like finish that accepts text, clip art, and custom designs, without the tarnishing or rusting associated with real brass.
Any Premier Polysteel bench, buddy bench, picnic table, or swing can be made into a memorial product with the addition of a plaque.
Both plaque styles are highly rated for outdoor use. The plaque is not covered under the 20-year product warranty but is designed to hold up in outdoor conditions over time.

There is no strict character limit for plaque text, but keep in mind that the more text you include, the smaller it will appear on the finished plaque. For best readability, shorter inscriptions and larger photos or graphics tend to produce the most impactful result.
